Antelope canyon is a slot canyon formed by flood waters which pool in a basin above it and then drain at high speed through sandstone formations. It is one of the most visited and photographed sites in the southwest. Antelope Canyon is located near Page, Arizona, a town created during the construction of the Lake Powell dam. The canyon is on Navajo tribal lands and can only be visited when accompanied by approved tour guides. This is another of several shots I took the day I visited. I was shooting towards the sky, but it is hidden in the canyon’s curved walls.
